Evaluation for Freak The Freak Out

Evaluation of The Lip Sync Task

Camera angles:
We used a variety of camera angles - the most prominent were the low angle shots, where I sat on the fence and sang into the camera. These shots were effective as the effect of me being higher asserted dominance and female empowerment. The effect was to appear as if I was getting in someone's face and essentially confronting them.

What went well: Using the low angles to create levels and assert dominance within the frame.
To improve: Maybe use worm's eye shots so its fully off the ground. This would have worked in nicely with the other tiers and created a sort of bridge between shots.

Editing:
For the editing process, we used the iMacs in A25. We used Adobe Premiere Pro CC to edit, sequence and transition each shot so that the video ran smoothly, with the lip syncing as well as the audio track.  We used more of the fence shots during editing but we also used an equal amount of midwaist shots to create levels.

What went well: Sequencing - cutting the shots to make sure it was in the correct positions so the audio and the moving image synced up.
To improve: Experiment with FX and special finishings. Experiment with transition effects to give the video a more complex structure.

Overall:
Overall, the lip sync task was a lot of fun. It was really nice working with Hanni and Sharnee, we got a lot done as a group and the end product turned out quite nicely.
